& Booking Guide
All of my frequently asked questions will be listed here along with a short guide including some information you may need to know. It is a bit of a read, but each piece of information is divided into their categories making it easier for you to navigate, if you have any further questions please don't hesitate to reach out
PHOTOGRAPHY
CAN WE SELECT OUR IMAGES?
All final images are carefully selected by me, these will be what I think is best out of your gallery and you will receive a wide variety of images from your session. If you have a particular image you would like included please let me know and I will add that to your gallery. Your FULL gallery is also available at an extra cost, where you will receive all of your images to download.
RECIEVING YOUR GALLERY
Sneak Peeks will be available on my socials within 12-24 hours, and your gallery will be available to view and download within 2-3 weeks, depending on the season and my workload. Weddings and Elopements however, do have a longer turn around time and you will receive your gallery no later than 10-12 weeks. (Depending on the size of your day and amount of coverage) But, I will always try to get you gallery out sooner if I can.
DOWNLOADING YOUR GALLERY
If you have purchased a standard session, and you receive your gallery online you will receive a case sensitive password and PIN to access and download all of your images in high resolution. Once downloaded you will receive a zip folder which you can extract all images from, I usually turn on singular download aswell so you have the option to save high resolution files to your phone if you wish, or if you need to download one particular image at a time. With your link, you are free to share this with your family or friends aswell, or others who may have been involved in your session. Galleries are usually left up for a minimum of 3 months to give you plenty of time to download your images. If it has been left too long and your gallery has expired, I am more than happy to re upload your images again and create a new gallery. However, as this does take a bit of time to re create, and I also have to retrieve your images from my archived files, It will incur a small archival fee of $50 to cover my time. Please make sure you have downloaded your images before the 3 months to ensure your gallery is downloaded and recieved.
PAYMENT OPTIONS
Payment for your sessions can be done by Bank Transfer or Cash (Transfer Preferred).
A retainer is required at the time of your booking, to secure your date - this comes off the total cost of your session and is non-refundable however it is transferrable should you need to reschedule. The remaining balance is due 48 hours prior to your session (2 Weeks Prior for weddings). If you wish to pay via cash, please let me know as soon as possible to ensure your balance is still received prior to your session.
WHAT DO WE WEAR?
I don't particularly like telling my clients what they should and shouldn't wear, as I want you to be at your most comfortable for your session. I want you to represent yourself and not wear something you'll be uncomfortable in. However I can recommend some styles and colours of clothing to ensure your images match in with the aesthetic that you're after, if you have a particular theme or would like some guidance leading up to your session. If you're booking in a maternity session, I recommend light and flowy, or something to compliment your beautiful bump.
Things to avoid: Too many patterns, or Large writing on T-Shirts. They can sometimes take away from your session, or location and can be very distracting. If you have a group of people in your session, a little bit of patterns are good, but too many can be too much.
Things to consider: A themed colour pallete, or colours that compliment each other well. You don't need to match, blending in is all you need. Neutral colours are always nice for your base, with pops of colour.
LOCATIONS!
I like to shoot at any location special to you, your family, or that suits the look that you're after. I don't have set locations (I do have favourites though) however, I am more than happy to look around and find a location that would be perfect for you and/or your family!
I love sessions in or around your home (I love getting nostalgic, and having those things that are special to you included), I love the beach, industrial locations, and there are some beautiful bushland locations around.
MY CREATIVE SIDE.
I LOVE getting creative, I LOVE being artistic and I believe that my style reflects that. I am more than happy to do creative sessions, and I love to think outside the box, If you would like to roll in the waves or water with your partner, splash around with your children, do a themed session, a session doing something you both love, a steamy session with your lover, or even a session at night with lights, I would be more than happy to do that with you too! Please let me know upon booking and I would be more than happy to help you bring your vision to life!
HEALTH AND SAFETY
For the safety of your newborn baby and children, I would like to give you the peace of mind in letting you know that I am up to date with my vaccinations. I will never attend a session whilst feeling unwell and I will let you know as soon as I know, if we need to post pone your session.
I am a mother myself and fully understand if any situations were to arise, if you are feeling unwell or have a family member who is unwell, please let me know as soon as possible if you would like to post pone your session. Your health and safety is important to me, and I would hope for the same in return.
If you have any immunity concerns with yourself, or your family and would like me to wear a mask,
I am more than happy to cooperate with you also.
